One of my 2016 to-do list is to update this blog once in a week. First week of 2016, let's get started.

Today, I was the only helper in the shop. It is a super busy Sunday and my mom not even have time to prepare lunch for me.

The most easiest dish is always something with egg.

Ingredients: 2 eggs , 1 tomato, salt

1) cut the tomatoes into pieces
2) beat the eggs, add a little bit salt
3) fried the tomato until .... depends on your feeling >.<
4) turn off the gas and pour the eggs into the frying pan and mix with the tomato
5) use the residual heat to cook the egg

It is definitely a healthy dish. However, the egg has been digested in a short period of time and I started to feel hungry. End up, searched for some unhealthy snack. #

Scrambled Eggs with Tomatoes

That day, I have watched a TV show which introduced about Miso. Here are the list of benefits:

-Lowers Risk of Cancer
-Stronger Immune System
-Anti-Aging Solution
-Maintenance of the Body’s Nutritional Balance
-Improves Mood
-Blood Pressure Management

For more information, please refer to here or ask Mr/Mrs.Google.

That day I have bought a bottle of Miso from Tesco. So...I just searched if anything can be thrown into miso soup.

Ingredients: creamy miso, carrot, mushroom, seaweed, tofu (quantity based on own preference)

1) cut the carrot, mushroom, and tofu into small pieces
2) place water, carrot, mushroom, tofu into the pot, simmer until water is boiled
3) add in a few tablespoon of miso, taste and add more miso if desired
4) add in seaweed and serve hot

The great thing when I cook miso soup is, it is super easy to cook and there are no fix recipe. Just put in the ingredient you like or you feel that it is suitable. #

Miso Soup

It's Sunday! When I was going to bath, my daddy said:" This week you are not going to gym huh? You are really a  3-minute person".

Okay...to prove that I am not a 3-minute passion person, I got my gym bag and drive to Jatomi.

After gym, I went to Straights Quay to support my friend's sister stall - Paul Penders Natural & Organic skincare. I have bought a Lavender Body Lotion. Great smell!

Before going back, I went to SAM'S Groceria to buy salmon for our tea time =D

This was my first time to cook salmon. I just grab anything that can be found from the kitchen and present it with my bad design skill. #

Fried Salmon

My youngest sister went to group study with friends as she is going to take Maths paper tomorrow. Yes, she just started to do revision today. .. =.= "" Sometimes I curious...what will be my situation today if my parents did not force me to study during my SPM..

Back to the picture above, today I have prepared french toast as tea time for myself. It is super easy with zero failure.

Ingredients: 2 plain breads, peanut butter jam, 1 egg, salt, honey, butter

1) cut off the bread's crust
2) spread peanut butter on each slides and stick the two breads together
3) beat the eggs, add a little bit of salt
4) soak the bread into the egg mixture
5) fried the bread
6) served topped with honey and butter.

After tea time, I started to feel Monday blue... #

Peanut Butter French Toast

Today, I reached home at 8.45 pm as this week I am working on noon shift. When my daddy first saw me, he said: "I thought you go out with your friend, no dinner for you." My stomach was making noises. I just rush into the kitchen to search for food...oops..not food, should be raw material .. >.<

Ingredients: eggs, carrot, tomatoes, onion, dried anchovies

1) fry the dried anchovies for around one minute in a pot
2) pour in a big bowl of water and simmer until water is boiled
3) filter out the dried anchovies
4) put in onion, carrot, tomato, continue to cook for around 5 minutes
5) beat the egg, fry the egg
6) put the fried egg into the soup, add a little bit of salt and taste the soup

My youngest sister said: " Are you trying to keep fit?" I was so hungry and feel like want to ignore her. #

ABC Soup with Egg

This week, I have no TGIF as I need to work on Saturday. After 5 pm, close helpdesk agent, send the duty report, and enjoy the remaining weekend.

Ingredients: paratha, butter, egg, tomato, lettuce, cheddar cheese, black pepper, oregano flakes, any sauce (mayonnaise, thousand island)

1) put some butter into the pan, fried the paratha until golden color
2) add an egg on top the paratha, flip over the paratha so that the egg can be cooked
3) flip back to make the egg side on top, add cheddar cheese, black pepper, oregano flakes, tomato slides, lettuce
4) fold the paratha into half

My dinner was prepared within 10 minutes.

The melting cheese and sauce makes the paratha become juicy and creamy, and makes me become fatty. #

Paratha wrap

Since the day that my three siblings left home to further their study, my mom has difficulty in preparing meal for me and my youngest sister because both of us could not finish all the food.

This night, just cook a simple dinner for my sister and myself.

Ingredients: rice, eggs, salted fish, onion, tomato, mushroom sup/mushroom sauce, mozzarella cheese, oregano flakes

1) fry the rice with eggs, salted fish, and onion.
2) after the fried rice has been done, served in a bowl/plate
3) put some tomatoes on top
4) pour some thick mushroom soup or mushroom sauce into the rice, cover with mozzarella cheese
5) add in black pepper, and oregano flakes
6) put into oven for 8 minutes.

There was one similar word came out from me and my youngest sister when we were eating: "FAT!" #
